Day 6: Waiting out the Storm and Feeling More Like a Local

We woke up to an amazing storm in SML. The waters were so choppy that even the fishing boats took the day off.

Sadly for Mo, the windy weather closed the scuba shop too. No chance for water adventure, but we did get to watch some strong waves break over the pier.
The walk to the scuba school was the same path thousands of people take to walk from SML to Portofino. It has unbelievable sea views and beautiful beaches to visit along the way. Here is the view of SML on our walk back into town.
The day warmed up and we took the hundreds of steps up to Villa Durazzo.

As would be expected in this beautiful city, the views were breathtaking.

Mo had some firsts today, he carried a purse
And he broke his no church rule.

And he found a new place to take a nap.

Just in time for the next storm to move in...

We found a restaurant with a view and a canopy to protect us from the rain. For our last dinner in SML, we were greeted by this guy and his friends on our seafood risotto.
