All tan and ready for adventure we caught a train from SML to Cinque Terre. These 5 cities are so beautiful they drew 4 of us back for another visit. We wanted nothing more than to share the amazing views and feel with Mo, Kris and Kelly. If you have never heard of it, you should look them up and plan your trip now.
The train traveled along the Italian Riveria coastline for about an hour.
Our first stop, Riomaggiore. We walked through the shops...
Took in the views....
Traded facts....
Attempted to hike....
And ended Riomaggiore with drinks and snacks.
We left Riomaggiore via train and went to Monterosso.
We boarded a ferry in Monterosso headed to Vernazza, and MO took a nap.
The ride was rough.
But the view from the boat was worth the seasickness.
While in Vernazza Mike, MO, and Malia explore a cave.
Then it was back to SML via train. And, MO took a nap.
So did Janet. We are really wearing these parents out.
Fun fact from the trip. MO has been studying Rick Steves daily. After our trip to Cinque Terre, MO skipped dinner and went straight to bed.
