Day 5: Good-byes, New Apartment and a Relaxing Day in SML

With heavy hearts, we waved good-bye to Mike, Janet and Kd. Our last time all together at our local spot.

We didn't want the fancy seaside apartment they were staying in to go to waste, so we moved ourselves in. It was like a vacation within our vacation.

This is the view of the water and the park that those lucky ducks have been enjoying during their stay in SML, and then they shared it with us.

We decided to enjoy a relaxing day enjoying the apartment, taking much needed naps, enjoying the patio...

And really only venturing out for wine and pasta. The spaghetti with clams would make anyone want to climb a tree. Not a bad day...

Mike, Janet and Kd had quite the adventure on their train trip to Nice, but they made it safely and will be sorely missed the rest of the trip.
